Galliford Try has announced the appointment of modular building solutions brand, Algeco, as a strategic partner for the supply of temporary modular buildings for hire.
Galliford Try project sectors include education, defence, health, highways, water, environment, custodial and judicial, rail, commercial, urban living investments, facilities management and telecoms; and all are covered by the two-year agreement with Algeco.
The two-year strategic partnership between Galliford Try and Algeco runs to 2024 and extends to all Galliford Try Group businesses including Scotland's Morrison Construction.
As a preferred strategic partner, Algeco will supply a full range of temporary buildings and 360 solutions for hire across all of the Galliford Try Sectors. We were selected due to our track record of delivering projects to required specifications and deadlines whilst providing cost certainty, and our ability to assist Galliford Try on its path to becoming net carbon zero by 2030 in it's own operations.
Galliford Try's thorough supplier evaluation process identified Algeco's portfolio of buildings including our Traditional AV+ B rated units and Moduflex® solution as their products of choice due to their many stand out energy efficient features, wide range of sizes and specifications, multi-storey capabilities, and ease of installation with minimal foundations.
The Algeco team provide a consultative approach, our buildings are designed taking into account what is important to Galliford Try. Each layout is tailored to suit projects specific requirements, taking into account equality, diversity, inclusivity and sustainability in each design.
During the first year of the agreement, Algeco have already supplied many Galliford Try sites with full turnkey solutions from foundations to hand over of a completed building, providing aesthetically pleasing and sustainable accommodation that is ready to work from, leaving Galliford Try to concentrate on what they do best.
Another key benefit of Algeco is that projects will be sourced from multiple depots around the country, meaning that buildings are always sourced with minimal travel distance to and from the site location, thus supporting Galliford Try's commitment to reducing CO2e.
