SP Energy Networks (SP) has been named Best Company at the 2022 Planet Mark Awards.
Planet Mark is an internationally recognised sustainability certification, which is awarded to businesses that are committed to reducing their carbon emissions. It recognises continuous progress towards climate action.
SP were recognised for their continuous commitment to and role in the green energy transition and outstanding results in reducing our carbon footprint in all aspects of our processes. Over the last decade, SP have reduced our own direct carbon footprint by almost half and are committed to reducing carbon emissions by 67% by 2034/35.
As well as the Best Company Award, SP also received the Milestone Award, celebrating their continuous six years of Planet Mark certification.
