Green Home Systems has partnered with STV to launch a national solar energy campaign and raise awareness of how to reduce domestic energy bills.
The new TV campaign will broadcast for three months and help to generate awareness of how solar panels can help reduce domestic energy bills while lowering our carbon footprints. With the cost of living at an all-time high and with greater levels of fuel poverty than ever before, it is vital that households find new ways to reduce costs.
Solar PV systems work by capturing the sun's energy and converting it into electricity that can be used throughout the home, which works well even on cloudy days. With a solar battery included as part of the system, the savings can be maximised as energy is stored during the day for later use. Solar PV is very environmentally friendly to operate because it uses a sustainable energy source which also maximises the cost-saving benefits.
Green Home Systems is an accredited energy efficiency specialist holding multiple industry qualifications and provides a wide range of energy efficiency services including thermal insulation, smart heating systems, renewable energy technologies and electric vehicle charge points to domestic properties. Established in 2014, the green energy company has completed over 16,500 energy efficiency projects, lifted over 7,000 families out of fuel poverty and prevented more than 500,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
Alastair Macphie, Managing Director at Green Home Systems, said: "We are excited by the launch of this new TV campaign and look forward to helping families reduce energy costs by generating their own environmentally friendly electricity at home. With the need for reliable and affordable energy being greater than ever before, our solar and battery storage systems allow our customers to harness the power of the sun and control their everyday living. With our solar panels being tailored and designed for family homes, they can make, use and save energy all under one roof."
