Consultation Launches On Proposed Millburn Corridor Improvement Works

Construction News Image
The Highland Council is seeking input on the proposed development of a range of active travel and bus-based improvements to the Millburn Corridor to address the existing problems in Inverness city centre.

To feed into this appraisal, the council is inviting local businesses and the public to get involved and let their views be known

Chair of the council's Economy and Infrastructure Committee, Cllr Ken Gowans hopes as many people as possible take up this chance to have their say.

He said: "A feedback survey at the end of the information material encourages people to comment on the work undertaken and provide their thoughts on the options being considered. The feedback we receive is important as all comments will feed into further detailed appraisal and design work currently being progressed."

To view information on the study background and learn more about how the options have been developed and subsequently appraised before taking part in an on-line survey visit Millburn Corridor Transport Study.

The opportunity to provide feedback is open until Sunday the 22nd of January 2023.

The information on this study and the other two travel studies within the Inverness Area will also be presented at an in-person public drop-in event on Wednesday 14th December between 4:30pm and 7:30pm at the Spectrum Centre, Farraline Park Bus Station in Inverness where members of the study teams will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Hard copies of the Millburn Corridor survey will also be available at this event.
