Two major projects supported by Arc-Tech (Scotland) have won a prestigious, architectural award.
The Glasgow Institute of Architects (GIA) is "the largest Chapter in the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS). With over 1600 members located from the Scottish Borders to the islands of Argyll, the chapter covers a diverse membership."
The incorporation hosts a prestigious awards ceremony every November to commemorate developments from across the construction sector that were delivered over the previous 12-month period in the Glasgow local authority region.
Clydebank Health and Leisure Centre is covered by the NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde catchment and because of this, it was dutifully the recipient of the 'Healthcare' award. Led by Bam Construct UK and hub West Scotland, the project was supported by Arc-Tech with a Mechanical and Electrical services package and was officially opened earlier in 2022 by the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care, Humza Yousaf MSP.
The second award winner is the stunning North Gate, a development of 31 affordable homes in the southside of Glasgow for New Gorbals Housing Association. Forming a part of the Crown Street Regeneration, the development was led by CCG (Scotland). and was supported with Renewable services from Arc-Tech. The development is one of many that Arc-Tech has supported in the last year with an estimated 2,000-unit programme of solar PV panel installations coming over the next 18 months.
We extend our congratulations to the winners, Anderson Bell + Christie and Page\Park.
