Allied Surveyors Scotland has announced that its Edinburgh commercial department has moved to a larger premises on the city's West Maitland Street.

It has been based at the firm's Walker Street offices since April 2018 where it has been providing agency and valuation services to a wide-ranging client base.

Now, with ambitious growth plans in the pipeline, the department has relocated from Edinburgh's West End to refurbished office space in the Haymarket district.


“We had simply outgrown Walker Street so these new premises provide us with around 1,000 sq ft and a prominent outlook," commented Iain Mercer, director of commercial agency (east), who set up the agency in 2018.

“As a business location it has great connectivity so close to Haymarket station and tram stop and, of course, the nearby Haymarket development is reinvigorating the whole area."

The firm's residential surveying and administration team will remain at Walker Street.

Allied Surveyors Scotland is one of Scotland's largest firms of chartered surveyors with 32 offices across the country, including commercial centres in Aberdeen, Dumfries, Glasgow and Inverness.
