Three projects from CCG (Scotland) have been announced as finalists in the Herald Property Awards 2022.
The awards, one of the most prestigious on the calendar and celebrating its 15th anniversary, bring together developers from across Scotland to commemorate developments from across the housebuilding sector.
Nominated in the Best Regeneration and Affordable Housing Development of the Year categories, Whitlawburn Regeneration continues to recieve industry praise. Led by South Lanarkshire Council in partnership with CCG and hub South West, the development comprises the large-scale regeneration of a prominent site in East Whitlawburn, Cambuslang, to conceive 311 mixed-tenure homes including 81 for private sale led by CCG Homes. An exemplar for affordable housing delivery in South Lanarkshire, the entire development is set to be fully complete by summer 2023.
A further two projects from Edinburgh are nominated in the Affordable Housing Development of the Year category: Bingham Avenue comprises 40 homes located in Duddingston that were constructed by CCG on behalf of the City of Edinburgh Council, in partnership with Anderson Bell + Christie, and Heron Place is a 104-home scheme located at Granton Harbour for Port of Leith Housing Association, the latter of which is now into its second phase with a further 304 homes presently under construction.
CCG extend our best wishes to all of our partners that were involved in the delivery of these projects and we wish all of the nominated companies the very best of luck.
