Locharbriggs Housing Development Granted Planning Permission
Dumfries & Galloway Housing Partnership's proposal to build 89 new, affordable homes on a former lorry logistical site in Locharbriggs have been given the green light this week.
The development forms part of the Association's plan to deliver 800 affordable homes across the region by 2026.
Designed by Collective Architecture and set to be delivered by CCG (Scotland) on a full Design and Build basis. the housing mix consists of two, three, four and five-bedroom terraced and semi-detached house types designed around a series of communal courtyards and an innovative Sustainable Urban Drainage Strategy (SUDS) that supports a wider emphasis on ecology and amenity.
Works will commence on-site later this year.
