Savills has announced the appointment of Ed Crockett as their new Director in the Operational Capital Markets (OCM) division, based at the firm's Edinburgh office.
Crockett will also regularly spend time in the Margaret Street head office in London. He will work across all OCM sectors, including Multifamily, Single Family, Student Accommodation, Co-Living, Senior Living and Healthcare.
Savills Scotland is a multi-disciplinary practice with over 300 staff and strong residential investment, development and planning teams. Crockett will work closely with these teams, supporting clients in their aspirations in the OCM sectors in Scotland.
Crockett joins from abrdn, where he was Head of UK Residential Investment and was responsible for the creation of abrdn's UK Residential business, in addition to supporting the growth of their European Residential platform. He has vast experience managing UK Funds' strategies in both the Commercial and Residential marketplaces. With over twenty years' experience, his extensive sector expertise will be an asset to further strengthening OCM's Residential team.
