A new housing development is due to get underway in Wallyford, following the latest acquisition deal by homebuilder Ambassador Living.
The family-owned homebuilder secured the land deal, which will see 94 new three-, four- and five-bedroom luxury homes (including 24 affordable) built within this superb East Lothian setting coined 'Wallace Park'.
Initial clearance and demolition works will now commence on site to facilitate the launch of two executive show homes in Summer 2022.
Ambassador Living has recently ventured into the East of Scotland with its popular Forthview development, featuring a collection of premium new homes overlooking the bay of South Queensferry. Elsewhere, Ambassador is also progressing through detailed planning stages for the creation of an iconic new village location at Bangour Village Estate in West Lothian. Wallace Park, Wallyford will be the first development in East Lothian for Ambassador Living as it continues to expand across Scotland.
A dedicated marketing suite at Wallace Park is set to open this Winter, allowing homebuyers to explore the collection of brand-new home styles that will be available, and find out more about the high quality fixtures and finishes on offer from Ambassador Living.
Gordon Coster Managing Director, for Ambassador Living said: "We are delighted to have successfully acquired the land for our new development in East Lothian, this exciting acquisition will now allow us to move forward with creating a stunning new aspirational neighbourhood focusing on spacious modern living.
"We are looking forward to bringing the premium offering from Ambassador Living to East Lothian and introducing buyers to the high-quality specification and finishes on offer within our homes. This is our second venture on the East Coast, after the successful launch of Forthview in South Queensferry, which has seen incredible demand with the first phase almost sold out entirely from plan and our showhome due to open this Winter.
"We have enjoyed a great deal of early interest in this development which lies in the heart of an important growth area. With its proximity to Edinburgh and well-established amenities and good schooling options, we expect this only to increase as we move towards our sales launch and invite homebuyers to register their interest early."
