Health And Care Centre Development Approved In Parkhead
A new health and care centre has been approved by Glasgow city planners.
The facility is set to be built at the Parkhead Hospital site at Salamanca Street, reGlasgow has reported.
The facility will operate as a base for multiple services while also housing Parkhead library, alongside a cafe, a public plaza and courtyards.
A planners report praised the development's "unique design", which has incorporated a natural slope of approximately four metres at the site.
