Advanced Construction Scotland have congratulated nine of their employees who have graduated with degrees in Quantity Surveying, Health, Safety & Environmental Management, Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Civil Engineering.
All have progressed through part time university courses whilst also gaining valuable experience in the office/ site based environment which has helped them become valuable ACS Group employees.
The graduated are:
• Darren McShane, Estimator – BSc in Quantity Surveying at Glasgow Caledonian University
• Cameron Falder, Estimator – BSc (Honours Degree) in Quantity Surveying at Glasgow Caledonian University
• Ross Haigh, Estimator for Advance Flooring Division – BSc in Quantity Surveying at Glasgow Caledonian University
• Michael Mooney, H&S Advisor – BSc Honours Degree in Health, Safety and Environmental Management at Glasgow Caledonian University
• Campbell Evans, Group SHEQ Compliance Manager – First Class BSc (Honours Degree) in Occupational Safety and Health at the University of the West of Scotland
• Emma Strain, Assistant Quantity Surveyor – BSc in Quantity Surveying at Glasgow Caledonian University
• Abbey Donnelly, Assistant Quantity Surveyor – BSc in Quantity Surveying at Glasgow Caledonian University
• Gary Robertson, Assistant Quantity Surveyor – BSc in Quantity Surveying at Glasgow Caledonian University
• Luke Kelly, Assistant Ground Modelling Engineer – Honours degree in Environmental Civil Engineering, Glasgow Caledonian University.
Liam Brindle, Surveying Director is delighted for his team and for the Group overall.
He said: "Congratulations to all our Graduates. Nearly half of our surveying team have come through this route and it's proven a positive way for us to enhance our department. We're also adding to our team with two new trainees starting in our Surveying Department, Liam Rolink and Josh Moore and our Estimating Department are also starting 2 new trainees, Kai McBride & Alexander Gault. We offer them a warm welcome and look forward to us working together and adding more strength to our business."
