Clark Contracts Secures Eight Contracts With University Of Glasgow

Clark Contracts has secured eight new contracts through the University of Glasgow's Construction Framework.

The projects range in value from £50k to £1.8m and include both internal and external refurbishments.

The largest project involves external fabric repairs at the university's Category B listed University Gardens, which is the first of two phases of work to be completed.

The contractor is also delivering the £1.6m refurbishment of the James Watt North Building to create agile working spaces for the School of Engineering and the refurbishment of laboratory space within the MacRobert and Botham Buildings which form part of the University's Centre for Virus research.

Other projects include roof repairs at Queen Margaret Union and laboratory upgrades within the Davidson Building and Sir James Black Building.

Clark Contracts has been appointed on the university's Minor Works Framework since 2006 and has delivered projects within all buildings located in the University of Glasgow's Gilmorehill Campus.

Clark Contracts has a long history of working within the higher education sector having delivered projects for 11 of the Scottish universities including the University of Strathclyde, University of Edinburgh, University of Dundee, University of St Andrews, the University of the West of Scotland, Herriot-Watt University, Glasgow Caledonian University, the University of Stirling, the University of the Highlands and Islands and Edinburgh Napier University.
