Glasgow's Linear Group has announced the establishment of a new Building Compliance division dedicated to providing expert solutions across fire, acoustics and compartmentation to ensure optimal compliance across these vital areas for building owners, managers and developers.
Linear Building Compliance (LBC) becomes the third division within the Group and has been launched in response to an increase in clients' needs across the specialist areas of fire door inspections and maintenance, fire compartmentation and acoustics solutions, including insulation and reverberation.
With a growing focus on optimising building safety and compliance across the industry, LBC offers a wide range of expertise and experience, as well as the appropriate third party certifications, required to inspect, report, remediate, and also maintain, any premises.
The news comes as the Group's annual turnover exceeded £30m, up from £24m in 2019, and signifies ongoing growth across the existing contracting and fit out divisions which operate from offices in Glasgow and Manchester.
Stephen Holmes, CEO, Linear Group, said: "The launch of Linear Building Compliance is in recognition that specialist services are now more in demand in the industry than ever before, and I believe that clients are looking to minimise their risk by engaging with quality, fully certified and accountable businesses such as Linear Group.
"This comes following a challenging year across the industry, but we're delighted to be able to drive forward our growth whilst topping the £30m turnover mark this year, with projects to double within the next year in line with our ambitious plans and robust pipeline. This achievement is down to the hard work and commitment of our teams across the UK, and their unwavering tenacity in the face of extraordinary circumstances."
Headed up by Managing Director, Andrew Shankland, the new division will deliver UK-wide solutions for all types of new and existing buildings, ranging from individual premises, multiple site to large scale complexes.
