Clark Contracts has completed the construction of two new modern office pavilions at Clyde Gateway's successful Rutherglen Links Business Park.
Two and Three Rutherglen Links, which are part of just a handful of speculative office developments being built in Scotland and the UK regionally, are now on the market for tenants.
Designed by architect's Keppie and built by Clark Contracts, the £4m buildings offer a combined 15,000 sq ft of accommodation and space for around 120 employees. Each two storey pavilion can accommodate a range of occupier requirements. The town centre location is close to Rutherglen Station and enjoys excellent public transport as well as generous levels of dedicated car parking, including accessible spaces and provision for electric charging. With demand for cycling increasing, shower facilities and cycle storage are also provided.
Clyde Gateway's highly successful multi-million-pound Rutherglen Links Business Park, positioned off Junction 2 on the M74 motorway, is already home to leading engineering and technology-driven solutions provider SPIE and essential business services providers Clear Business Water within the One Rutherglen Links building. The industrial developments on the park have also attracted an enviable stable of tenant companies including Ford Retail, Screwfix, TransCanada Turbines, Eurocell, Equis, Bath Giant and Plumbstore.
The latest office space to open on site will compliment the current facilities on offer. The buildings are rated BREEAM excellent for energy efficiency, fully accessible and DDA compliant and will offer an external courtyard providing ideal break out spaces for meetings or well-being breaks.
Ian Manson, chief executive at Clyde Gateway said: "This is great news for Rutherglen and the wider Clyde Gateway area – bringing up to a further 120 jobs to the business park. The bespoke style of Two and Three Rutherglen Links is a new concept for us and offers fully flexible internal layouts together with external break out spaces and cycle storage, ideally suited to meet the new needs of the commercial property market."
Gordon Cunningham, managing director of Clark Contracts said: "We are delighted to complete another landmark development for Clyde Gateway and turn their vision into reality with these modern and flexible new office buildings. The business park has proven to be extremely popular, and these new buildings provide a welcome addition."
