Carnoustie based Housing Developer DJ Laing Homes are continuing their support of Scottish Junior Football with their sponsorship of the newly named DJ Laing East Region Cup.
The company will continue to support Scottish Junior football for the new season and has been main sponsor of their local team, Carnoustie Panmure, for over 28 years.
The deal was signed in the presence of the Scottish footballer Frank McAvennie.
McAvennie, who played as a striker for St Mirren, West Ham United and Celtic and has had two spells with each of these clubs. With Celtic he won the Scottish Premier Division in 1987–88 and the Scottish Cup in 1988.
Karen Nicoll, Managing Director of DJ Laing said: "We are pleased to continue our association with Scottish Junior football and are delighted to be sponsoring the D J Laing East Region Cup again this season.
"It is great as a company to be supporting junior football at a local and national level as the clubs are vital to the local community. We wish all the teams every success for current the season."
John Reilly, General Secretary for the East Region Scottish Junior Football Association also said: "We are delighted that D J Laing Homes has agreed to continue their position as main sponsor of the DJ Laing East Region Cup. It is great to see a local business investing back into the communities which they live and operate."
