The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) has announced the full programme for their 2020 Chairs' Conference.
The conference will start with a session that looks at lessons learned so far from annual assurance statements and the new Regulatory Framework.
Delegates will hear from Alex Close, SFHA Head of Communications and Public Affairs, on the Scottish Government's Housing to 2040 work. Delegates will have the opportunity to think about their own vision for housing in the future.
Dr Vicki McCall, from the University of Stirling, will discuss how we create homes that promote inclusive living by outlining SFHA's work in this area to date. She will also explore how to demonstrate the social value of our sector's work.
Delegates will have the opportunity to attend interesting and informative workshops, including technology enabled care, FOI, and how to be a good chair.
Aimed at chairs and vice chairs, the conference is taking place on Friday 31 January and Saturday 1 February. It will provide a chance for delegates to network and gain fresh ideas and different perspectives. This participative, engaging conference will be beneficial to all who attend.
The conference will take place at Norton House Hotel and Spa, Edinburgh. The hotel is just a 20-minute drive from Edinburgh city centre and a mere 10 minutes away from Edinburgh Airport.
Residential rates start at £460 for SFHA members and £710 for non-members . You can also attend for the day, with prices starting at £199.
