"We are simply so proud to do what we do here in Berwickshire and the Scottish Borders, we are thrilled each time our material from within the Borders is delivered to important projects across the UK.

"We applaud SBCC for an excellent awards ceremony and we are proud to live and work amongst other fabulous businesses in the Scottish Borders."

New chairman of the Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce, Moira Wilson said: "Business Excellence Awards continue to go from strength to strength every year and the Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce are very proud to be associated with them.

"As one of the largest geographical regions in the UK, with one of the smallest populations, our business community is dispersed, which can impact on that feeling of critical mass.
