UK developer Story Homes has secured two prestigious awards for its first ever development in Scotland, Summerpark.
The project was named 'Low Rise Residential Development of the Year (North)' at the Premier Guarantee Excellence Awards, while Senior Site Manager, Jim Robison also picked up the national prize for 'UK Site Manager of the Year'.
Premier Guarantee is a leading structural warranty provider for both residential and commercial builds. The Premier Guarantee Excellence Awards were designed to recognise the UK's best developments covered by Premier Guarantee schemes, giving credit to those buildings that go above and beyond what is expected. The awards were presented on 23 October at an exclusive ceremony at London's Science Museum.
Colin Wood, Chief Operating Officer at Story Homes said: "We are very proud to have won two Premier Guarantee Excellence Awards – it is fantastic to be acknowledged by the industry for the hard work of our Summerpark team, with special recognition for our Senior Site Manager Jim. We take great pride in achieving the highest standards, from the overall design of the development through to the individual finishing on each property, and these wins really demonstrate the care and attention to detail that goes into the homes that we build."
Jim Robison, Senior Site Manager, added: "We are really proud to be amongst a select group of prestigious house builders and developers who have taken home an Excellence Award. Over the past 11 years I've seen the development grow from strength to strength and I'm absolutely thrilled and thankful to everyone who has helped make Summerpark a great success."
Summerpark, which opened in 2008, is still the biggest development in Dumfries and Galloway to date with over 350 residents purchasing homes at the development.
