An event is set to take place later this month addressing rural housing strategy in South Ayrshire.
The Rural Forum held by South Ayrshire Council will look at issues such as affordable homes in rural locations, roads and road maintenance and the processes involved in planning and building control.
Mossblown and Annbank residents are urged to attend the forum at Annbank Primary School on Monday 20 May at 7pm. It is an opportunity for people living in rural towns, villages and smaller communities to discuss issues important to them with Councillors and other decision makers.
This follows on from a successful forum in Crosshill earlier in the year.
Mark Baker, Service Lead for Corporate Planning and Improvement at South Ayrshire Council, said: "We had a good turnout in Crosshill in March and I'm sure the Mossblown and Annbank Rural Forum will prove just as popular.
"Anyone living in or around Mossblown, Annbank is welcome to attend and we are also encouraging residents from other rural locations to pop along too. Councillors representing Kyle will be there as well as those representing Girvan and South Carrick and Maybole, North Carrick and Coylton.
"The opinions of people living in our rural communities are very important, these events ensure they are listened to and more importantly any issues they have are addressed."
