CCG (Scotland) Ltd announced that a minimum of 16 trade apprentices will join the group in 2019.

Each of the new recruits – aged between 16 and 21 – will be offered an industry-recognised, four-year programme covering both the practical and theoretical skills of bricklaying, plumbing and joinery trades.

Formally commencing their chosen programme in August, the apprentices will help support the company's business strategy that will see up to 1500 homes constructed per year across the central belt of Scotland in areas such as Glasgow, Edinburgh, East Ayrshire and West Dunbartonshire.


CCG also offers trainee programmes for internal progression and to the external market currently employing 29 people in estimating, buying, site management, timber frame design, and health and safety roles.

The company will continue to recruit trainees with 10 new entrants expected to join in their forthcoming financial year.
