Clark Contracts will participate in three careers events as part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2019.
The first event on Tuesday 5th March is Clark Contracts' own careers evening which is being held in its head office on McFarlane Street, Paisley. The event is for anyone interested in a trade apprenticeship or traineeship in quantity surveying, construction management or estimating. Those interested in attending should email westcareersevening@clarkcontracts.com stating which discipline they are interested in to be allocated a time slot.
The contractor is attending DYW West Region's Inverclyde Careers Fair on Wednesday 6th March which is being attended by local schools from the Inverclyde area. The event takes place in Greenock Town Hall from 10.30am to 2.30pm with over 400 school pupils expected to attend.
Finally, Clark Contracts is attending DYW Edinburgh, Midlothian and East Lothian's Young Persons Jobs Roadshow also on Wednesday 6th March. School and college leavers from the region will be attending the event at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh to hear about apprenticeships and traineeships on offer.
In addition to the three Scottish Apprenticeship Week events, Clark Contracts has also recently attended careers events at City of Glasgow College, Glasgow Caledonian University and St Benedict's High School.
Over 20% of Clark Contracts employees are currently studying towards formal qualifications at all levels from trade apprenticeships, HNC, HND to BSc and Masters degrees, through its award winning academy.
