CCG Project Nominated For Offsite Award

CCG has been shortlisted for a 2019 Explore Offsite Award for 'Best Housing'.

The Explore Offsite Awards is a leading awards organisation that celebrates 'outstanding examples of prefabrication and factory-based methods, products, systems and disciplines that increasingly strive to develop a sustainable, streamlined and cost-effective way to deliver a better-built environment'. Winners are set to be announced on 05 March as part of this year's FutureBuild at the Excel Arena in London.

The project to have been shortlisted is the Anderston Regeneration, one of the UK's leading examples of urban regeneration. Delivered over a near 10-year construction period on behalf of Sanctuary Group, the 542-unit scheme has changed the face of one of Glasgow's most historic townships and thanks to the use of CCG's capabilities in offsite manufacturing, the Anderston community is now provided with modern, energy efficient homes.

The final phase to have been delivered was Phase 4 & 5 consisting of 206 apartments and in December 2018, the completion of this phase and the wider masterplan was commemorated by Scotland's First Minister with the unveiling of the world-first Charles Rennie MacKintosh statue that was designed by artist and sculptor, Andy Scott.
