NHBC Roadshow To Visit Glasgow In National Tour

The NHBC is taking its housebuilding roadshow on tour across the UK, with a large focus on preparing housebuilders for a changing landscape.

NHBC experts will present the latest technical and regulatory updates in house-building at the Building for tomorrow shows, and share best practice gleaned from more than 900,000 site inspections carried out each year.

The 2019 roadshows will focus on preparing for quality homes by covering the changing political, economic and market landscape by tackling such issues as the skills shortage, supply chain challenges and the changes to the regulatory landscape.

Other elements of this year's agenda will include the increasing use of components, framed construction and Modern Methods of Construction. There will also be an update on the proposed changes in fire safety following the Hackitt Review.

Events in London, Scotland and Northern Ireland will have specially tailored agendas.

• Tuesday, 19 March – East – Cambridge Belfry

• Thursday, 21 March – West – National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull

• Thursday, 04 April – Northern Ireland – Hilton Templepatrick, Belfast

• Thursday, 25 April – London – Central Hall, Westminster.
