Morrison Construction has completed the final reinforced concrete turbine base at Dorewell Windfarm near Dufftown in Moray.
The contractor has been working on the project since April 2017, and has constructed 59 turbine bases and approximately 40km of road across the seven sections of the wind farm.
The concrete for the final turbine base was poured at the 2500ha Glenfiddich estate site in late August.
Civil engineering works are also complete on the 132KV sub-station compound built for the energy project, which connects the windfarm to the National Grid.
The focus of the project has now progressed to the installation and commissioning of the wind turbine generators.
Morrison Construction, Managing Director Infrastructure Scotland, Jim Steele, said: "It is wonderful to celebrate this important milestone for a project that will provide clean renewable energy as we set out to deliver a low carbon future for Scotland.
"I am very proud of our team who have overcome a challenging highland environment and a particularly harsh winter during construction, to complete our works."
The project for EDF Renewables is one of the largest developments of its kind in Scotland with construction of the wind farm due to be completed before the end of the year.
Once operational the turbines will generate up to 177MW, which is enough electricity to power more than 130,000 homes.
