The scheme was undertaken by hub East Central Scotland at Alyth Primary School, which was officially reopened on Tuesday, 13 March.
The original Victorian school has been upgraded with a new bright, spacious and modern school environment. All the classrooms now have floor to ceiling windows and learning walls which include interactive electronic smartboards. Other features include a new multi-use games area, courtyard and roof terrace alongside the school's extensive playing fields.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Provost Dennis Melloy said: "This major project has transformed Alyth Primary School for the long-term, and I understand there has already been very positive feedback from visitors to the school about how the Victorian and modern elements have been so harmoniously combined.
"The school community is justly proud of their new educational environment, and I am delighted to have the honour of officially opening Alyth Primary School today."
Gary Bushnell, Chief Executive, hub East Central Scotland, said: "We worked closely with Perth & Kinross Council to manage the successful delivery of the new school, which is designed to meet the needs of the community that it serves, providing a modern learning environment for pupils and staff. We are very proud to have completed five new schools for Perth & Kinross Council in recent years."
