Council Leader Douglas Campbell said: "Hundreds of people came out to support community groups that are all looking to make a difference to peoples' lives.

"Importantly, events like these allow like-minded people to meet and share ideas, with expanding networks providing the potential for joint working to deliver new ideas.

"I'd like to wish all of the participating groups the best of luck as they continue to deliver positive projects for the benefit for the wider community."
