Work on a refurbishment project at Perth Crematorium is now complete.

The building has been fully modernised and completed re-wired, with a new heating system as well as upgraded lighting throughout.

Other features include:

• A new modern reception and office area and a private meeting room

• A new family room equipped with its own private toilet facility


• New large screen monitors in the entrance hall

• The chapel has been upgraded with a complete décor change as well as new lighting.

• A new exit hall created from the service area

• Fully upgraded and additional public toilet provision together with a new disabled toilet facility and baby changing area has also been installed

• Externally, works have been carried out to improve disabled access to the building

• New overflow carpark for parking facilities at the crematorium

Following the refurbishment, the Crematorium re-opened for funeral services from Monday, 12 February.
