The new Dougrie Sheltered Hall was built by City Building (Glasgow) and will act as a focal point for residents to socialise, arrange parties and other events.
Features include a kitchen, a staff office and a laundry room. As well as being wheelchair-friendly, the hall has dementia-friendly features, including easy-to-open doors and wide corridors.

Lord Provost of Glasgow, Councillor Eva Bolander, unveiled a plaque to officially open the new facility earlier this month.
She said: "I'm delighted to have been invited to open this wonderful facility. I'm sure everyone in Dougrie Terrace will enjoy the space and will look forward to holding many happy events, activities and celebrations here.
"It's so important to have somewhere people in a sheltered housing complex can congregate, enjoy social activities and feel the benefits of the community they live in."
