Stewart Milne Homes has strengthened its senior team by appointing a new Construction Director for Central Scotland.
Bryan Galloway will be responsible for increasing the number of homes built by the developer as part of the company's plans to deliver over 500 new homes in the region year on year.
With more than 30 years' industry experience, Mr Galloway has previously worked with Wimpey Homes, CALA Homes, Miller Homes, and, most recently, Barratt Homes and Avant Homes.
Currently, Stewart Milne Homes has over a dozen active outlets in Central Scotland and is investing in land for new site in the Central Belt. Over the past 12 months, it has acquired land with a sales value in excess of £100 million and continues to invest in new developments in the region.
In the next 12 months, the developer plans to purchase land with a turnover value in excess of £150m.
Gerry More, Managing Director for Stewart Milne Homes Central Scotland, said: "We have been increasing the number of active developments in locations with the strongest demand for the high-quality family homes we provide and Central Scotland is key for us in terms of investment. We are seeing a strong sales performance in our well-established homes business in this region and Bryan will play an integral role in delivering our strategy."
Mr Galloway, who will also join the board of Stewart Milne Homes Central Scotland, added: "I've long been an admirer of the team at Stewart Milne Homes and am excited to be representing one of Scotland's leading privately-owned homebuilders. This is a great opportunity to be part of an experienced management team who have a mandate to grow the business by adding attractive sites in the East of Scotland to its strong West of Scotland strategic land pipeline of developments."
