Local residents are being encouraged to submit their views over the redevelopment of The Vennel in Linlithgow.

With the newly refurbished £4m Linlithgow Partnership Centre opening this autumn, services at The Vennel will be relocated to the new premises.

The council is seeking alternative short/medium term uses for the properties, while planning guidance for the wider Vennel area is finalised and inward investment is sought for a good urban design outcome.


The local authority said: "Any development would need to be sensitive to the surrounding area, with possible uses including commercial or retail use, tourism facilities, community or outdoor space or residential."

Local residents and interested organisations wishing to take part in the consultation have until 5pm on Thursday, 24 August to submit their views.
