A new £4 million car rental centre has been opened at Glasgow Airport.
The facility was built by CCG (Scotland) and offers a one-stop-shop car hire facility for passengers.
The centre includes increased floor and office space, as well as being equipped with the latest technology to ensure the hiring process is quick and convenient.
Unveiling the new facility, Finance Secretary Derek Mackay said: "I'm very pleased to be here for the official opening of the airport's new car rental facility. Glasgow Airport has attracted a number of new long and short-haul services and this development will help build on the passenger experience.
"As constituency MSP for the airport, as well as my Government role, I see first-hand the work and continued investment Glasgow Airport is putting in right now, and this new facility is just one part of that."
Calum Murray, director of CCG (Scotland), said: "It has been a real privilege to work with the team at Glasgow Airport on this project. The new facility has been designed with exceptional aesthetic merit, providing customers with a one-stop-shop for all their car rental needs.
"This project required strict construction management protocols from our site team and our mechanical and electrical services division Arc-Tech to ensure safe and effective work while we operated in a fully functioning airport environment."
Amanda McMillan, Glasgow Airport managing director, said: "We are continually looking at ways to enhance our facilities for the millions of passengers who travel through our doors each year and this centre is part of a wider two-year £55-million investment programme at the airport."
