The new Garnock Community Campus in Glengarnock was formally handed over to the council by developer Hub South West Scotland on Wednesday, 21 December.
The modern facility will serve Garnock Valley's three main towns- Kilbirnie, Beith and Dalry. Om addition, it will bring together pupils who currently attend Garnock Academy, Glengarnock Primary School and Glengarnock Early Years Centre.

Overall, 1,500 pupils will be accommodated at the new campus, which features a new six-lane 25m swimming pool, fitness suite, multiple games halls and a synthetic rugby/football pitch.
Cllr John Bell said: "While there has been much debate about the campus's location and concerns over transport, I am delighted that the young people of the Garnock Valley will benefit from this significant investment in education by the Council."
Garnock Community Campus head teacher, Alan Dick, added: "We are all extremely excited that the opening is now just days away and our young people and communities will get to use this amazing new facility.
"We have all worked incredibly hard to get to this stage. I must pay tribute to all the staff for their hard work and dedication- This has been a real team effort."
Pupils are set to move into the new school on Tuesday, 10 January.
