Morgan Sindall Reaches Milestone On £10m Care Home Project

Morgan Sindall has reached a major milestone on a £10 million care home project in West Dunbartonshire.

A topping out ceremony was held yesterday, 20 July, to mark the completion of structural work on the scheme, which is being built at the site of the former Crosslet House.

The facility is being delivered for hub West Scotland and will provide accommodation for 84 residents and up to 50 day care centre users.

Councillor Gail Casey said: "It's fantastic to see the progress which has been made on the site, with the building really starting to take shape. As part of the Council's commitment to protecting the wellbeing of our vulnerable residents, we are investing £25 million into building two new care homes for West Dunbartonshire.

"Once the new Dumbarton facility is completed, it will meet the needs of our elderly residents and also offer them wonderful views over the town from the communal courtyards which are being created."

The project is expected to be completed in early 2017.
