Residential letting agency Speirs Gumley has successfully let a block of 20 apartments on Glasgow's Bath Street within record time, as demand from high-quality city centre rental properties continues to grow unabated.
The company, which has a rich heritage of over 180 years of property experience, currently manages a substantial portfolio across Glasgow on behalf of more than 300 landlords in some of the city's most sought-after buildings.
The 20 one and two-bedroom apartments at 38A Bath Street, owned by Town Centre Securities, were snapped up by individuals, couples and small families looking for luxury accommodation just a stone's throw from all the amenities of the city centre.
Robert Nixon, Head of Residential Letting at Speirs Gumley said: "The incredible speed with which these apartments were let is testament to our team and the growing demand for rental accommodation in Glasgow, especially in locations as fantastic as 38A Bath Street – you couldn't
be much closer to Glasgow's style mile or Queen Street Station.
"Over the last 18 months alone, Speirs Gumley has increased the number of properties that we let by over 50 percent and we expect this trend to continue. Our clients particularly like the fact that we have a dedicated property manager who knows each client's property inside out."
Colin Steele, Associate Director for Caledonia Management Ltd said: "We chose Speirs Gumley to let our 38A Bath Street development because they could offer clients a really personal and efficient service. The Glasgow property rental market is fairly buoyant at the moment and we were pleasantly surprised that the entire building was let in record time whilst achieving higher rents than we first expected!"
