ISG has been selected to deliver a multi-million pound extension of supermarket group Aldi's headquarters in West Lothian.

The project is part of the retailers plans to open a further eight stores in the country this year.

ISG will develop a two-storey 21,500 sq ft extension at the company's regional HQ in Bathgate.

Mechanical and electrical services will also be upgraded, as well as IT and security infrastructure.


At ground level, the extension will contain meeting rooms, an archive store, sample kitchen, sample kitchen presentation area and staff canteen.

The first floor will provide a mix of open plan office accommodation and cellular office space, with ISG also undertaking fit-out works.

External enhancements will also be carried out, along with new car parking provision and hard/soft landscaping.

Andy McLinden, ISG's Scotland regional MD, said: "Aldi has been highly successful with its quality offer in Scotland. I'm delighted that our first project for Aldi in Scotland is highly significant in supporting the supermarket's country-wide expansion strategy, delivering a high-quality and future proof administrative centre in Bathgate."
