The £5.2 million Galashiels Transport Interchange was named as the 'Town Centre Regeneration Project of the Year'.
The development was delivered by Hub South East Scotland, with Morrison Construction as the main contractor.
The Interchange forms a gateway to the new Borders Railway in addition to Galashiels bus station and also directs footfall into the town centre.
Passenger amenities include a tourist information centre, bus and train real-time information and a train ticket machine.
Other facilities include showers, changing places, disabled toilets and bike lockers to promote cycling/walking.
There is also seating and a café on the ground floor, with two additional floors of office space and conference facilities.
Paul McGirk, Chief Executive, Hub South East Scotland, said: "This recognition is a tremendous endorsement for the collective team responsible for delivering the project so congratulations to all involved. This is our first Hub project in partnership with Scottish Borders Council and we look forward to continuing this successful working relationship in the future."
Derek Scotland, Morrison Construction Project Director, added: "Our role was much wider than simply delivering the project. We recognised the need to support and work with the local supply chain at each stage of development and enable local companies to benefit wherever possible from the growth of the local area."
