A planning application has been submitted to build over 100 homes for health workers in Aberdeen.
A total of 110 new properties would be developed at Foresterhill.
NHS Grampian put forward the application to the council in a bid to attract and retain more staff.
The plans outline how Grampian Housing Association (HA) plans to provide housing for over 200 staff.
The project is part of a wider £150 million redevelopment of Foresterhill announced in August, which will see the creation of the Baird Family Hospital, a new cancer centre and the relocation of Foresterhill Health Centre.
Gerry Lawrie, Deputy Director of Workforce with NHS Grampian, said: "We've done a lot of consultation with current and potential staff and one thing they've been really clear about is that the proposed development site at Foresterhill will help us attract and retain people from both within and outside the north east.
"The provision of green space on the site will also tie in with the work being undertaken with the Green Exercise Partnership which will develop a new green pedestrian and cycle route to improve the connectivity of the Foresterhill campus. This will be further supported by the new landscaping and garden play area in front of the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital."
Neil Clapperton, Chief Executive of Grampian HA, added: "We are pleased to be working with NHS Grampian on this exciting project which sees the realisation of the Association's plans to expand its provision of housing to key workers.
"We are acutely aware of the need for affordable homes to attract and retain public sector workers to the North East and are committed to addressing the current shortage in partnership with employers."
