The Reid Hall in Forfar underwent major revamp work including the main hall, meeting rooms and changing facilities.
The kitchen has also been upgraded and a new servery has been installed.
In addition, access to the building has been improved for people with disabilities.

The refurbishment was financed with £176,500 from Forfar Common Good Fund with the council providing extra funding to enhance the wi-fi capacity of the building.
Councillor Jeanette Gaul said: "The Reid Hall is a major venue in Angus and this latest investment has allowed us to upgrade it to high standard.
"The revamped facilities are really impressive and add to the versatility of the venue.
"Front of house is bright and fresh and the upgraded technology and equipment behind the scenes provides the infrastructure a contemporary venue needs.
"This refurbishment reflects what our customers want from the venue and our own ambitions for its future use."
