Council To Hold Free Networking And Information Event

The Scottish Borders council has invited the local construction and skilled trades sector to a free networking and information event.

The exhibition provides a chance to learn more about how to start or develop a business within the local public sector.

Representatives of Business Gateway and the councils Economic Development team will be in attendance.

Councillor John Mitchell, said: "We have organised this event to provide firms with the opportunity to network with key contract owners from SBC, neighbouring local authorities and NHS Borders.

"Major contractors will also be in attendance to meet Borders firms and explain about how to access any sub-contracting opportunities that become available."

The event will be held on 20 May in Springwood Park between 6pm-8pm.
