Meet The Buyer Event For Primary School

Graham Construction is to host a 'Meet the Buyer' event for contractor and supplier firms across the Scottish Borders region.

The event will allow the companies to meet with Graham, who is the appointed contractor appointed by Hub South East Scotland to deliver the new Duns Primary School.

The £7m school is due to open in spring/summer 2016.

This session will provide local firms with the opportunity to meet those in charge of awarding contracts to suppliers in relation to delivery of the school. The event will be held at Eildon Mill in Tweedbank, on Wednesday 12 November from 3pm to 8pm.

Councillor Stuart Bell, Scottish Borders Council's Executive Member for Economic Development, said: "I would encourage any local firms, individuals and young people to attend the event and find out more about getting involved in this exciting new project.

"The Council is committed to supporting local communities across the Borders throughout the construction and delivery of the new Duns Primary School, which will be an excellent facility for future generations of pupils."
