The work focused on the eroded sections of path close to the Commission's Sallochy camp site. Work to improve drainage and surface quality on other sections, were also carried out.
The project is part of a wider £750,000 programme to improve paths on the national forest estate within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

Will Huckerby, Forest Commission Scotland's Communities, Recreation and Tourism manager, commented: "Thousands of people walk these paths every year, either enjoying them in their own right, as part of a stay at our Sallochy campsite or as part of a longer haul trek along the whole West Highland Way.
"That level of footfall can cause a fair bit of damage and if the experience is to keep its magic, it's important that we keep the trails in good condition. We want walkers enjoying these sections to experience the magnificent views of the stunning landscape and not have to spend their time watching where they place their feet.
"This is money well spent and I'm sure that visitors will appreciate the effort to improve their experience."
