Plans Submitted For Midlothian School

Proposals to construct a new primary school in the Midlothian area have been submitted by AHR Architects.

The plans would see the school built in Bilston.

Valued at more than £6m, work could be completed in autumn 2016 if approval is granted.

Accommodating for up to 200 students, Bilston Primary School would be located on the site of a public park in the area. A nursery is also included in the plans, as is the installation of a multi-use games area (MUGA), floodlighting, a sports pitch, car park and associated works.
