Barr Construction is to hold an open day later this month.
The event aims to capitalise on the improving construction industry by recruiting workers from across the sector.
The open day will take place on Tuesday 8 April at the Thistle Hotel, Cambridge Street, Glasgow, from 12 noon to 7pm. During this time, the various opportunities Barr Construction has across its business at every level throughout the UK will be outlined.
Estimators, planners, bid managers, project managers, site managers, external works managers, site engineers and quantity surveyors are invited to discuss crucial roles in the sector.
The company is one of the UK's leading companies specialising in the design and construction of sports stadia and arenas as well as large scale leisure, commercial and retail projects. Among its recent achievements is the delivery of the 12,000-seater Basketball Arena for the London 2012 Olympic Games, the redevelopment of Tollcross International Swimming Centre in Glasgow, which will host the swimming events at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and new primary schools in Conon Bridge in Ross-shire and New Cumnock in Ayrshire. They have also established partnerships with key clients in the retail sector such as Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda.
Barclay Chalmers, Managing Director, Barr Construction said: "As a business we recognise the need to engage the best talent in our sector.
"This informal event is designed to give members of the construction industry access to senior members of the Barr team to discuss potential opportunities to join us and contribute to our ongoing success story.
"We are looking to grow our team with talented people that share our values of quality, service and innovation and would encourage candidates to drop in to hear more about potential roles within the business."
