Discussions on a scheme to erect wind turbines in Fife are to be held between local communities and Fife Council.
The meeting will allow residents an opportunity to talk to council officers about the general project information, as well as learn more about the potential sites that are being investigated at the early stages of the project.
The local authority has said no detailed information is yet available regarding specific sites as further work is still to be carried out, but those attending the meeting will be updated as to the following steps in the strategy.
The council's Energy Strategy highlights the potential for wind power developments, which could include the siting of up to 25 turbines on land with a council building nearby.
While a number of events have already been held, more have been scheduled.
The public information meetings will be held in the following areas:
• Glenrothes area – Rothes Halls, March 10, from 3.30pm to 6.30pm.
• Dunfermline area – Carnegie Hall, March 11, from 3.30pm to 6.30pm.
