Building work on the new Redwell School is continuing to progress.
The school, located in Clackmannanshire, is now said to be fully wind and watertight, while the work on the roof has also been completed.
Once completed, the school will welcome pupils from Claremont and St John's primary schools. Students from both schools have been kept informed as to the progress of work on the new purpose-built facility. The work is being carried out by Robertson Construction.
Visiting the Clackmannanshire site, Director of Education David Lang said: "I am very impressed by the quality school that is being created, and by the educational opportunities that this will deliver for the pupils.
"The education service is working across all our schools to help create good quality and relevant educational opportunities for every pupil."
Derek Shewan, Managing Director at Robertson Construction Group, added: "Robertson has a proven track record in delivering educational facilities and I'm pleased to say that the project remains on schedule to be delivered on time and within budget.
"As a local contractor, community involvement is at the heart of everything we do and we've been working closely with pupils who will attend the school next year to teach them more about the construction process of their new school and are glad to welcome them to the new building today.
"Meanwhile, our commitment to using local talent has also created opportunities for jobs and training."
