The Club at Gleneagles has been transformed thanks to a multi-million pound refurbishment by Graham Construction.
As part of the £5m project, Graham upgraded the Club's leisure pool, refurbished the existing lap pool to form a new adult pool, and installed new heat experiences including jacuzzis, saunas and steam rooms.
In addition, the ground and first floor male and female changing rooms have been refitted and new wet and dry stairs link the first floor changing rooms which have been extended to feature more lockers, vanity tables and further space for adult and toddler changing cubicles.
The company also transformed the original outdoor pool into a larger, more modern 36m2 Alpine Onsen pool. The existing leisure pool has now been completely remodelled, with a waterfall feature, bubble jet crossing and bubble pool. The introduction of a glazed screen wall constructed from insulated, thermally efficient glass provides better acoustics and improved insulation in the pool hall, while four heated loungers have been fitted to the adult relaxation area, while the new leisure pool Jacuzzi features a striking infinity edge.
Neil McFarlane, Regional Director at Graham Construction, said: "Gleneagles is one of the most iconic hotels on the planet and we are tremendously proud to have remodelled The Club.
"Graham Construction has specialist experience crafting water leisure facilities and we applied this knowledge and know-how to this project at Gleneagles to create a stunning amenity for the hotel.
"The eyes of the world will be on Gleneagles when one of the great sporting spectacles, the Ryder Cup, comes to the venue and we are confident we have delivered a facility befitting a hotel of its stature."
The ambitious project was led by the Gleneagles team and renowned London interior designers Sedley Place, and coincides with the hotel's 90th anniversary in 2014.
Bernard Murphy, General Manager of Gleneagles, added: "We are delighted with the new look of The Club, which seamlessly combines modern, luxury facilities with a real step up in terms of design.
"We're particularly excited about the introduction of a new adults-only pool and relaxation area, and a new outdoor Alpine Onsen – they will be a fantastic asset for the resort, and provide some really beautiful new spaces for our guests to enjoy."
