The local authority is wanting to hear the views regarding plans to increase rents in the area.
The Council has proposed a 3.5% increase in rent, which in turn, will allow them to carry out a number of projects during 2014/15.
More than £34m of improvement works are planned, and include:
- 390 new central heating systems
- 970 new kitchens
- 808 new bathrooms
- new windows in 451 homes
- new roofs and render on 350 homes
- insulated external render on 160 homes.
A number of estate-based projects are also planned, with more than 68 projects due for completion this financial year.
The consultation, which commenced on Monday (21 October) will run until 15 November 2013, and all online entries will be placed into a draw to win £50 of shopping vouchers.
