Perth and Kinross Council has said it is to carry out road resurfacing works on High Street in Rattray.
The programme will commence on Saturday 19 October.
In order for the works to be undertaken, a section of the High Street between Balmoral Road and Hatton Road will have to temporarily close. The closure will be in place from 19 to 27 October.
As the works are being carried out, diversions will be in place for motorists.
Traffic will be diverted via the A93, Balmoral Road and Hatton Road when works are being carried out on the High Street between Balmoral Road and Sidlaw Road.
When resurfacing of the High Street is being undertaken from Sidlaw Road and across Hatton Road, vehicles will be diverted via the A926 (Blairgowrie-Alyth), B954 (Alyth-Meigle), A94 (Meigle-Coupar Angus) and A923 (Coupar Angus-Blairgowrie) roads.
Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
There will also be changes to local bus services during the closure. Stagecoach Strathtay Service 57 buses will generally be unable to operate the normal route between Blairgowrie and Meigle via Rattray and Alyth and instead will operate via Coupar Angus and the A94. A shuttle bus will be provided between New Alyth, Alyth and Meigle to enable passengers to link to Service 57 during the closure.
