Green Homes Scheme For Fife

A cashback scheme from the Scottish Government could give householders up to £1,200 to install green upgrades to their homes.

The Green Homes Cashback scheme, which is managed by the Energy Saving Trust, means each Scottish household could be eligible for funds to go towards installing a new boiler, insulation or other energy efficiency measures.

The Scottish Government's Green Homes Cashback scheme lets householders claim:

Up to £500 for insulation measures including loft, cavity or solid wall

Up to £400 to replace an old boiler

Up to £300 for other measures (such as glazing, LED lighting and heating controls).

Claims submitted through the scheme before 31 December 2013 will also receive up to £150 towards the cost of the assessment through which applicable measures are recommended.

Homeowners, tenants and private sector landlords can all apply.
